Project overview

We organized seamless event activation and crafted a comprehensive report of the Creative Economy, Our Common Future (CEOCF) Seminar. Held in Jakarta on July 18, 2024, this international event brought together Asia-Pacific’s top experts to discuss the future of the creative economy in the region. The Jakarta Seminar was organized collaboratively by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (MoTCE), the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Kadin Indonesia), and the Asian Creative and Digital Economy Youth Summit (ACE-YS). It also serves as a follow-up to ADBI’s Creative Economy 2030 report and a prelude to the 4th World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) in Uzbekistan in October 2024.

Preparing and Executing Impactful International Event Activation

The Jakarta Seminar served as a crucial bridge between the 3rd World Conference on WCCE in Bali and the upcoming 4th WCCE in Tashkent. Selaksa was entrusted with organizing the event, ensuring a seamless experience for the 551 stakeholders coming from 21 countries.

Our role extended beyond event coordination. We also played a key part in shaping the seminar’s identity through strategic branding. This involved designing the official logo, creating merchandise that visually represented the event’s purpose and vision, and developing social media content to enhance public awareness and engagement.

Processing Data and Shaping It Into an Inspiring Insights Report

To capture key takeaways and actionable insights from the Creative Economy: Our Common Future Seminar, we carefully crafted and distributed the CEOCF Insights Report. This comprehensive document summarizes the core discussions from the July seminar, provides strategic recommendations for the upcoming WCCE, and serves as a pivotal reference in advancing the global creative economy.

To ensure data-driven insights, we implemented a participant feedback system, gathering valuable input that was then analyzed and transformed into a compelling insights report. The CEOCF Insights Report was officially handed over by Byungsik Jung, Deputy Dean of ADBI, to Sandiaga Uno, former Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, at the 4th WCCE in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on October 3, 2024.
